Intravascular Lithotripsy for Peripheral Arterial Disease
Intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) is increasingly used to treat heavily calcified lower-limb arterial disease. IVL appears to be a safe and effective vessel preparation strategy in complex calcified disease, supporting the need for larger prospective studies to refine patient selection and long-term outcomes.
